Editor of Dholera Digital. Based in Ahmedabad, about 100 km up the corridor from the SIRSpecial Investment Region: a statutory zone under the Gujarat SIR Act 2009 with its own development authority., which is close enough to check claims and far enough to owe nobody in them.

The research spine behind this site: three books written on Dholera, a 2026 working paper on the Dholera SIR, and a maintained, verified registry of 137 entities active in the Dholera market, built from official rosters, mapped business data and a multi-source sweep with every entry typed and deduplicated. That registry work is why this record can say confidently who is real, who is a reseller and who is only a rumour.

Why this publication exists

Because the most important city experiment in India deserved one desk with no plots to sell. The brochures oversell it, the cynics undersell it, and both are boring: the sourced truth, with its tiers showing, is stranger and better. That is the whole editorial thesis.
