The data desk
Published 3 August 2026. Facts verified to 27 July 2026 unless dated otherwise.
Maintained tables rather than prose: confirmed capital against announced intent, the verified numbers, and every stated date scored on delivery.
Four maintained datasets: the capital ledger, the key numbers, the promise-versus-delivery record and the quarterly assessment. Two ship as downloadable CSV.
The datasets
The Dholera capital ledger
Every announced rupee, split into confirmed and announced, with sources and dates. CSV included.
Key numbers
The verified core statistics of the region: area, capacity, costs and dates, each tier-tagged. CSV included.
Promise vs delivery
Every announced date scored against what actually happened, kept permanently.
State of Dholera
The quarterly assessment of where the build-out genuinely stands.
Why the data is separated from the writing
Prose ages badly and numbers age precisely. Keeping the figures in maintained tables, each with its source and its verification date, means a reader can check what changed rather than re-reading an article to find out. The ledger separates confirmed capital from announced intent, because collapsing the two is the single most common error in coverage of this region. Downloads are reusable with attribution.
